About River's Bend Wedding Venue and Events
We are a private wedding venue located in beautiful rural Southern Virginia. Our Estate is like no other in the beauty and magnitude of classical statues, acres of gigantic flora and an 8,000sq colonial Dutch Mansion. The Estate is 25 years old and is surrounded by large gardens and open fields. Our business is unique because all guests will have very large open spaces to walk around without having constant restrictions like other venues. We want to make everyone feel welcome and accepted. There will be a beautiful chapel/gazebo for the bride and groom and a very unique bar surrounded by climbing vines. Secondly, I believe that venues should by large for large events. The Bigger the Better! Our venue location sets quietly in a private neighborhood with the Staunton River towards it back.
The most important part of the venue is of course the flowers. I believe that our venue offers more beauty in its flora than any other in Virginia. We have worked diligently to ensure that the bride, groom and family will have the opportunity to take pictures in front of massive rose gardens containing every beautiful large shrub or tree for that particular season. Last year we planted over 400 Crape Myrtles and countless other plant varieties that not only look impressive but have the aroma of an 18th century French Estate.
